Rotating off the board after 7 years is Mariano Maluf, past-president, ex officio. “Mariano has been crucial to the growth and success of VMUG. We are grateful for all years he dedicated to VMUG and while we will miss his contribution to the board, he remains an important part of the community,” states Ben Clayton, President.
New to the Board of Directors for 2018 is Adrian Woodward, Sr. IT Program Manager in Global IT Architecture and Technology Futures with an industry-leading medical device manufacturer. Adrian and his team are responsible for investigating emerging and maturing technologies to solve business challenges. With the rapidly changing technology landscape, Adrian believes it is critical for VMUG to focus on providing resources for members that position them for continued career success, as he recognizes that many VMUG members are key contributors to cloud transformation and IT modernization.
“I’m looking forward to working with the 2018 Board of Directors,” states Ben Clayton, VMUG board president. “With twelve returning members, we have a mature and experienced team in place, and I’m confident they will work hard to ensure VMUG continues to be THE place for users of VMware technologies to go for connecting with peers and learning more to advance their careers.”
