Southern Grind Bistro Opens A Branch In BGC


Established in 2017 in a food park in Quezon City, Southern Grind Bistro just opened its first full blown restaurant last March 22, 2019 at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It is getting bigger with multiple restaurants now and more in the pipeline. The Chief Operations Officer and President,  Antonio “ Ton” Carmelo Tallon conceptualized the restaurant with an American southern and soulful taste with over 30 dishes and best sellers like the following:

  • Chicken/ Shrimp Jambalaya or Paella
  • Artichoke with bread
  • Selection of 4 Bistro Meals with rice
  • Saint Louis Pork Ribs

According to Jayson Jose, the Commissary Head Chef, “ The menu is American and came from the Southern part of America where people loves Barbecues. One of our best seller is the pork ribs where we cooked it slowly for 7 hours. We don’t like to be in a hurry, we love you to taste the difference.”

When ask about the main branch in Taguig, Chaldford Tamares, the store supervisor is always excited since a lot of loyal patrons visited them because of the Shrimp Jambalaya. According to him, “You can also do a Press Conference here since we have a 30-40 pax capacity in the second floor area. We can serve it as buffet or ala carte in a very affordable prices.”

Right now, you can find Southern Grind Bistro At Iloilo, Tuguegarao, Cebu, kalibo, Taguig and Shangrila Plaza At Edsa this year and Bohol soon.
